Mario Tennis Power Tour
Review by Baragon
Platform: GBA
Genre: Sports

About the game: *Ahem* I've played a lot of Mario Sport's games in the past. But this is by far the easiest. My nine year old sister beat is with little effort. However, what it lacks in difficulty, It makes up for in customization. There are 8, maybe 10, training machines, each with different difficulty levels. Let me assure you THESE are not nearly as easy. By using the training machines, you gain Powershots, which go into one of eight catagories. Two powershot's can be equiped at the same time, one for A and one for B. The game is packed with characters, including 8 mario characters.

The main focus of the game is to progress through the ranks, Unranked, Junior, Pro, Varsity, and eventually the Mario Cup. There are two seperate story modes, allthough the only difference is one is singles and the other is doubles.

Pros: Lots of characters, long story, lots of customization, more then enough mini games. Also, it's tons of fun to watch Mario scare the crap out of the main character (Clay or Ace) with his giant jumps.
Cons: Way too easy. Very Repetitive, if it weren't for the mini game's I would've quit. And the Mario Cup at the end, the "Final Boss" is so easy I beat it with one hand. Litterally.

Overall, I wish they'd have given them better AI. Kinda repetitive, maybe some in game powerups other then Powershots?

I'll give it...

7/10
